Super Seniors
Celebrating Our Golden Best Friends
Service Description
Yes—you can teach an old dog new tricks! Super Seniors is, without question, my all-time favorite class. It holds a very special place in my heart because it celebrates something truly meaningful: the lifelong bond between dogs and the people who love them. This class is not about perfection, performance, or pressure. It is about slowing down, being present, and rediscovering joy together. Senior dogs have walked beside us through so many chapters of life. They have learned with us, grown with us, and given us their loyalty through every success, challenge, and quiet moment in between. Together, we have explored new places, taken long walks, trained for goals, relaxed at home, and built a relationship rooted in trust and companionship. As dogs move into their golden years, their bodies may slow down—but their hearts, minds, and desire to connect remain strong. Many senior dogs truly come alive again when given the opportunity to play, think, and learn in ways that honor their changing needs. In Super Seniors, we gently remind them of activities they once loved and introduce new ones that spark curiosity and confidence. There is nothing more moving than watching an older dog perk up—tail wagging, eyes bright—as they master a new trick or joyfully engage in a familiar game. This class focuses on low-impact, high-engagement activities designed specifically for aging dogs. We practice fun and relaxed heeling games that keep teamwork alive, sniffing and pushing games that stimulate the brain and natural instincts, and gentle fitness exercises that support balance, strength, flexibility, and overall comfort. Every exercise is thoughtfully adapted to support joint health while keeping dogs mentally engaged and emotionally fulfilled. Equally important is the calm, supportive atmosphere. Senior dogs often enjoy the company of other gentle, older dogs, and this class provides a peaceful social setting where they can simply be themselves. Laughter, connection, and quiet pride fill the room as dogs and handlers enjoy this special time together. Super Seniors is a celebration of everything your dog has been—and everything they still are. Because learning doesn’t stop with age, and neither does joy. You can teach an old dog new tricks.
